Assessment is an area of passion of mine, and I have always been impressed by the great work the Commission for Assessment and Evaluation does. I began my term on the Directorate Board in 2010. I served as the Assessment Education Co-Chair from 2011 – 2012, and I am currently a member of the Members Resources and Support Team focusing on the Mentoring Program. The directorate offers outstanding opportunities. Through my work with the directorate I have reviewed convention proposals, developed and edited rubrics for the Professional Competency Areas, co-wrote an article about technology and assessment for the Assessment Newsletter, co-coordinated/facilitated an assessment article online discussion, co-wrote an article for an Assessment Series for Developments, and supported other assessment initiatives. I am currently the Interim Director of the Career Center at Bowling Green State University. In my spare time, I like to hang out with family, friends, and our two dogs, Dakota and Cali. I also love a good book and enjoy a great book club discussion.
